T-2508

T-2508 is a water-soluble demulsifier. It is a slugging compound generally used to clean up interface and treat emulsion pads.

FEATURES AND BENEFITS

Primarily designed to treat emulsion pads attributed to the presence of solid materials
such as iron sulfides, asphaltene or fine solids that are produced during fireflood projects.
A water-soluble demulsifier formulated for cold temperature stability.
A batch-type demulsifier used to remove pads, treaters, emulsion lines and tanks.
Used to help clean up slop oil and emulsion interfaces.
Particularly recommended for solids dispersant in treater pads and cleaning dirty
interfaces in vessels.

The required treatment volume is dependent on the severity of the pad and the stability of
the oil and water emulsion.

0.02-0.5% (300-5000 ppm) batch application in treater, truck or tank.

The optimal rate may be determined through demulsifier testing; 500 ppm (general rule)
