Ultra PAC Regular

ULTRA PAC REGULAR is a premium-grade, high-viscosity, poly-anionic cellulose that effectively reduces the API filtration rate of many water-based oil and gas drilling fluids and may also be used to increase and stabilize viscosity to improve cleaning and suspension properties in a wide variety fluid environments. Because this product is at low concentrations, it provides a cost-effective means of improving drilling fluid performance.

only small concentrations are required due to its high level of purity and premium quality.

PHYSICAL PROPERTIES:

Appearance: Off-white granules; odourless

Specific Gravity: 1.59

Solubility: Soluble, limited by viscosity

MIXING/HANDLING:

Mix slowly through a conventional jet-type mud hopper at 35-40 minutes per bag, over complete circulations. Best results are obtained when the product is mixed at a uniform rate no faster than the mixing equipment can handle. Avoid dumping the polymer into the hopper (slugging) as this promotes the formation of “fish eyes” that retard dispersion and reduce efficiency. Refer to the SDS for specific precautions and handling requirements.
