Preferred method of addition is either spray or wipe directly on the pipe or slug/batch directly at the suction or down the drill pipe. Alternatively it may be added neat or diluted with solvent in the chemical barrel then slowly added at the suction over a 24-hr period. For coating metal surfaces: Either spray or wipe directly on the pipe while it is being pulled or add to the mud by first diluting in a chemical barrel. For hydrogen sulfide / carbon dioxide protection: Add 1L per m³ of mud for every 125 mg/L of corrosion gas present in mud. Refer to the SDS for specific precautions and handling requirements.
