POTASSIUM CARBONATE (K₂CO3) is a white salt, soluble in water (insoluble in alcohol), which forms a strongly alkaline solution.

FEATURES AND BENEFITS

  • Primarily used for inhibition and reducing calcium content while drilling anhydrite.
  •  Used in silicate mud systems as a potassium ion source.

The approximate amount of Potassium Carbonate to treat out 350 mg/L calcium is 1.2 Kg/m³
